The embroideries of Kachchh, Gujarat, are a cultural tradition passed down through generations of women, once practised solely as a mark of talent and skill, not for trade. There are six main embroidery techniques—Soof, Kharek, Pakko, Rabari, Garasia Jat, and Mutwa—creating over 100 variations across communities. In the past 50 years, Kachchh women have gained economic freedom through this craft. Organizations like Shrujan, Qasab, and Kala Raksha now engage over 6,000 women, using embroidery as a tool for empowerment and livelihood.
We carry a curated range of Kutchchhi Dupattas. Stock changes often, and each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
