Hand-made using Sindhi embroidery it is a multi-purpose piece of cloth used as a shawl, bed covering, or table clothes but mainly as Shawl by the community.
Sindhi embroidery is also known as interlacing embroidery. The patterns in Sindhi embroidery are mainly chevrons and checks which are sometimes used in creating floral and birds motifs. The chain stitch embroidered with mirrors in floral designs is a very frequent design used in Sindhi embroidery work in traditional shawls or dupattas, done in the Kutch region.
