It is a native craft of Muslim community belonging to Banni area in Kutch. The Mutwa embroidery includes different stitches like a chain, double running, and square chain stitch.Their embroidery is very elaborate and their designs are chiefly geometricalong with floral patterns. Designs are influenced by their surroundings and motifs which include flowers, peacocks as well asparrots.
Also, it has heavy embellishments of mirrors encased throughout and a multi-color border at the bottom along with mirrors on green and maroon background.
