 Product Description:

An entrance decoration hanging locally known as ‘Toran’ is hand-made in Banjara embroidery. Toran is used for decorating the main entrance of the house. It is considered very auspicious in Hinduism and it is believed that it is to please and attract the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, and also to welcome guests.

Banjara or the nomadic tribes have a distinctive embroidery style that is influenced by many cultures and localities. The embroidery and motifs are highly influenced by nature and surroundings. The clothes are embroidered with elaborate beadwork, mirror work, shells, ivory beads, and colorful threads.

Embroidered geometric designs using maroon, green, yellow, and blue threads with chain and satin stitch also have additional embellishment mirrors that enhance their looks.
