The one, who is invoked first for all occasions, is also called Vighneswara, the lord who helps overcome all obstacles.Ganpati is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati with an elephant head, curved trunk, big ears and a plump belly. This cast bronze figure of the elephant-headed Ganpati has ten arms. In his left lower hand, he is armed with weapon of power Shakti, while other hands have arrow, bow, wheel, sword plough and the shining axe and in one hand it is laddu (a sweet ball) while his vahana (vehicle) mouse is shown near his feet.
