Product Description: The brass pandan box is intended to hold paan or betel leaf. The betel leaf-shaped box has a body flaring downward towards the base, the domed lid. The betel leaf is used to pour lime, tobacco and the nut and placed in the mouth that gives the user a mild aphrodisiac effect. The practice of chewing betel nut was popular all over Asia and is still a common practice in India and Myanmar. |
