 LOTI 

It is made up of brass as storing in brass vessel are considered good for health. The pots with the leads were used to Fill the water of the river Ganges and were bought home by the pilgrims from Banaras and Allahabad. The water was used for Hindu rituals and during other ceremonies like a few drops were poured in the mouth of a dying person and was also sprinkled on a dead body before cremation considering it very holy.
