A bag hand-made in Kathi work is a multipurpose bag used either to carry/store stuff or was also used to store jewelry.
Kathi Bharat did by Kathis, Mahajans, and Baniais considered as one of the oldest forms of embellishment. The mirror work is used in great numbers along with geometric patterns engulfed between borders constructing checked forms, illustrated by linear long stitches and contrasting colors that define the design vocabulary of Kathi Bharat.
Divided into two colors and designs it has a plain panel of green color at the top and a wine color panel at the bottom with an embroidered mandala at the center and mirrored borders at its perimeter.
