Ajarakh is a unique block printed cloth from kutch, Barmer, in India and Sindh in Pakistan. It displays special designs and patterns made by using hand-block printing. The motifs are inspired by the Islamic architectural element, Jaali-perforated windows, and trefoil arches. made in the sixteen-step process of washing, dyeing, printing, and drying, the cloth uses organic materials like indigo, pomegranate, turmeric, etc.
